The Demonstrations of the Dance School are a privileged appointment of the institution, where the public can come to appreciate the richness of the learning of classical dance at the Paris Opera. An important moment in the life of the School, they show the fruits of the work carried out by the students, revealing the modes of transmission of knowledge from a long artistic tradition. Accompanied by their teachers, the students expose the achievements necessary to master the codes of classical dance and the French school. The demonstrations also give an overview of the other arts and choreographic styles that complement their training: contemporary dance, folklore, baroque dance, mime, character dance and musical expression.
